About Me!

Introduction

Hello! My name is Gabriella Salazar but I prefer to be called Gabby. I was born on August 10, 2003 in Fairfield, California and this year I will be turning 15. Even though I was born in Fairfield I was raised in Vacaville, California. Vacaville is a small town in between Sacramento and San Fransisco and is mostly commonly known as cowtown for how many cows their are.

Family Life

I am one out of three children and the middle child of the family. My brother and sister's names are Alex and Heaven and I am very fortunate to also have two loving parents such as my mom and dad David and Denise Salazar. My little sister has just turned 13 and is going into 8th grade this year and my brother, Alex, who is 23, works for a company that fixes up apatments. My dad owns his own contracting and carpet cleaning business called D & D . My mom also happens to own her own business called Vaca Valley Pomskies where she breeds pomskies to help families such as our own have the oppurtuntiy to add a pomsky to their family.

Helping Hands

Since know I am the oldest child in my parents house I have taken larger responsabilities. To help out I happen to have taken a job under my mothers leadership as her secretary. In doing so I do small jobs such as answering phones, help manage social media accounts, taking care of the dogs 24/7, and cleaning their areas. It is challenging at times but it is so worth it when I get to see the smiles on the puppies parents faces when they meet their new family memeber.

Education

Starting this fall I am going to be a Sophmore at Vacaville high school in Vacaville, California. I happen to be very involved in my schools classes, clubs, and sports. I happen to now be the Vice President of the spirit club called Dog Pound at Vaca High, and I have also been handpicked out of 80 students who applied to be in the school's Student Council. In addition I also plan on being apart of the golf and softball team at Vaca High. Lastly I have also devoted my time to be involved in AP Capstone, which is a program where you take a set of AP classes.

Sports and Extra curriculars

The only sport I have dedicated my time to is softball. I have played for the Vacaville Bobby Sox league for five years and have won championships two years in a row. Softball has been the only sport I have really played so I can play any position other than catcher because I don't want to have too many injuries. A volunteer program that I have done for a few years that I love doing is Awana's. Awana's is a church program on Tuesday nights that teaches kids about god and introducing them to kids their own age while learing and having fun. For the past few years I have been a Leader In Training and have help the preschoolers learn. I love getting to know the children and feel very passionate about what I am teaching them. Each child has taught me something new and has had an impact in my life. I probably wouldn't be the person I am today without being raised in this church program.

Conclusion

Once again I am Gabby and I hope you have all gotten to know a little bit about me and my life story.
